Grant Gordon is the owner of Plane Fun Aviation. He has been a pilot since 1987, a photographer since 1976 and a flight instructor since 1993. The aircraft pictured in the background is N594PF, the Cessna 150 used for aerial photo missions.

With its high wing design, the Cessna 150 is well suited for aerial photography. The right side window of this particular airplane opens completely for unobstructed views of the subjects being photographed. And it can be flown at speeds slow enough to allow the photographer to shoot numerous, high-quality photos within a short time span.

In addition to his work as an aerial photographer, Grant is an Airline Transport Pilot serving as a Captain and the Director of Operations for Direct Jet Charter in Greensboro, NC. Direct Jet operates a 9-passenger Cessna Citation XLS+ twin-jet (N560DG) that is available for charter flights within the 48 contiguous United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Direct Jet also operates a 6-passenger Pilatus PC-12 NG turboprop aircraft (N315NG).
